You Are Here was an interdisciplinary project which involved the commission of three site-specific temporary artworks for Sheffield city centre, a symposium about interdisciplinary art and architecture practice, and an exhibition and publication presenting the outcomes.

November 2015 – February 2016 / Sheffield City Centre / in partnership with Jane Anderson, Leo Fitzmaurice, Sans façon, OSA and SSoA Studio ‘In Residence’ / funded by Arts Council England

The Live Works urban room acted as a base for the production of the artworks; ‘You are here’ by Sans façon, ‘Utopia’ by Leo Fitzmaurice and ‘Wounded Building’ by Office for Subversive Architecture. Live Works also curated and installed the month long exhibition, hosted in our urban room, which presented the three artworks and outcomes from the symposium.

Jane Anderson, curator, Models for Practice:

“You Are Here pioneered new interdisciplinary ways of thinking about architecture using Sheffield’s historic and contemporary urban environment as as backdrop for contemporary intervention.”
